Summer of 2023

 

Hours:  Tuesday – Sunday 11:00am – 8:00p

 

  1. Under no circumstances will residents twelve (12) years of age and under be admitted to the pool without adult (18 & Over) supervision.  The adult resident must remain with any resident under 12 years of age and under the entire time they are in the pool area.
  2. Residents twelve (12) years of age and under must pass a swim test before they can swim outside the three (3) foot area.
  3. No running, pushing, diving, wrestling, rough ball playing or causing undue disturbances in and around the pool area.  Game playing will depend on number of people swimming at the pool.
  4. While in the pool area appropriate pool attire must be worn at all time (i.e. bathing suits, swim trunks, no cut off shorts, no thong bathing suits, etc.).  Anyone wearing street clothes will not be permitted in the pool gate at any times. If you are not wearing appropriate pool attire you will be asked to leave the pool area.
  5. Infants with disposable diapers will not be permitted in the water at any time.
  6. Residents will be responsible for all actions of their guest(s).  The cost of property damage will be charged to the responsible party.
  7. Management and/or their agents will not be responsible for the loss and/or damage to any personal property of any kind.  Lost items are not the responsibility of the pool staff.  After three (3) days, any unclaimed articles will be discarded.
  8. Admission will be refused to anyone with skin abrasions, colds, coughs, inflamed eye(s), infections or wearing bandages.
  9. All persons using the pool will be required to register with the attendant at the gate.
  10. Glass containers, gum and/or alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed in the pool area at any time. Food and smoking will be allowed in designated area only. All trash, cigarette butts, matches, etc., must be put in the containers provided.  Please dispose of your cigarette butts properly.
  11. In addition to inclement weather days, the pool may be closed at any time due to either breakdown of equipment, any other operational difficulty and/or at the discretion of the Property Manager/Pool Attendant. We reserve the right to close the pool at any time.
  12. To ensure safety of our guests in the event of inclement weather, when thunder is heard, we will close the pool for 15 minutes until after the last interval of thunder is heard.
  13. The residents and their guest(s) using the pool do so at their own risk and sole responsibility, as the management and/or its agents do not assume the responsibility for any accident or injury in connection with such use.
  14. To ensure space for all residents, we ask that you have no more than two (2) guests per apartment at the pool at any one time.  Residents must accompany guest(s) and guests must be made aware that they are swimming at their own risk.  Each household will receive 1 free guest pass for the entire pool season.
  15. Any person caught entering the pool and/or surrounding area after the pool has closed will be immediately barred from the use of the pool.
  16. Access to the office from the lower-level entrance is strictly prohibited
  17. The hallway of the office/clubhouse is only to be used for access to the restroom. Loitering and or blocking the hallways will result in revocation of pool passes.

All members of the household must sign below and acknowledge THE SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK POLICY and that the Rules and Regulations have been read and are fully understood.

 

There will not be a lifeguard on duty.  There will be a pool attendant under the direct supervision of management.  Everyone will swim at Their Own Risk.  Parents are requested to caution our young residents and guest(s) to observe all rules and to obey instructions from these people.  Any failure to comply with these rules shall be considered sufficient cause for any action deemed necessary by the management, including the barring of violators from the use of the pool.

 

The above Rules & Regulations are for the safety and protection and benefit of all residents and guest(s) to assure safe and sanitary operation of the pool facilities.  Your cooperation in abiding by these rules will afford pleasant relation and recreation for all concerned.

 

In consideration of the Lessors providing swimming pool facilities, the undersigned expressly agrees to assume risk of any accidents or personal injury which he, or any member of the household, or guest, may sustain while using the said facilities, and agrees that the Lessor and the Managing Agent will in no way be liable for such injury.

 

The undersigned further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Lessor and his Managing Agents for any injuries sustained by a guest(s) of the undersigned while using the said facilities.  The undersigned further acknowledges receipt of copy of Rules and

 

Regulations and agrees to abide by them.  Passes are not transferable and misuse can result in revocation of pool privileges.   It is also understood that this will become part of the Lease Agreement.

I/We have read the above Rules & Regulations for the Swimming Pool at Stafford Lakes Apartments.  I/We understand that there will not be a lifeguard on duty and that everyone will “Swim At Their Own Risk”. I/We understand that if our pool pass is lost it will cost $5.00 to replace the pass.

Notice Regarding COVID-19

 

The safety and health of our employees and the residents of our communities are important to us and we have been carefully monitoring the COVID-19 situation and all CDC recommendations, as we know you have been as well. With new information being announced frequently we will have to exercise flexibility as we deal with the pandemic and responses to it.

 

  • In order to take precautionary measures, we are following the guidance of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for the latest information on the virus and guidelines for controlling transmission
  • We are cleaning routinely the frequently touched surfaces and objects, including but not limited to, bathrooms, security desk areas, elevator banks, turnstiles, escalators, door handles, communal kitchens or pantries, bathrooms and the like
  • We are providing and have installed where possible hand sanitizer stations in high-traffic areas of the property
  • We have advised any employees who may feel sick to limit face-to-face contact with others and to seek immediate medical help
  • We have reviewed the internal communications and preparedness plan and ensure that all property staff are ready, know their role in keeping the property and its residents safe, and are aware of all communication protocols
  • We are following Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) requirements, set forth in Sections 13 and 14 of OSHA No. 1 of 2006, which impose various duties on the employer to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • We have reviewed leave policies and office hours with our employees
  • We have given documentation to and communicated with residents and service providers to inform them of the steps taken to clean and sanitize the property
