During the next several weeks we will be renovating Stafford Lakes Apartments.  The renovations to take place are all exterior renovations that will not require entry into your apartment.  The renovations are to include power washing of the buildings, painting, work done to the parking lot, work done to the sidewalks, and shutter replacement.  We will be working to have all of the renovations completed in a timely fashion. We understand that there may be an inconvenience over the next several weeks with excessive staff and contractors, additional notices posted on your front doors, and increased noise throughout the property during normal business hours.  We appreciate your patience while we work to ensure that all of the work is completed safely and in a reasonable amount of time. ALL STAGES OF THE STAFFORD LAKES 2014 EXTERIOR RENOVATION HAVE BEEN COMPLETE.  WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL OF OUR RESIENTS FOR THEIR COOPERATION AND PATIENCE DURING THE RENOVATION. 

1st Phase of Renovation – COMPLETE

The first phase of the renovation process includes all of the ceilings in the breezeways and the ceilings of the 3rd floor apartment homes at Stafford Lakes. Third floor residents are asked to remove all items on your balcony.  The contractor will be on your balconies to repair the ceiling.  They will not need to gain access to your apartment to complete the work.  If you do not remove items from your balcony, we will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged personal property.

2nd Phase of Renovation – COMPLETE

We will be working with WarmWise and Farrell Insulations to replace the old bathroom shower heads and the kitchen and bathroom sink aerators with new energy efficient shower heads and sink aerators. Farrell Insulations will also be insulating some of the pipes on 3rd floor apartment homes. For additional information regarding this phase, click here.

3rd Phase of Renovation – COMPLETE

Capro Renovations will be bringing in members of their team to power wash and clean the buildings exterior surfaces to prep for exterior painting. After buildings are prepped for exterior painting any physical work to the building’s exterior walls will be repaired or replaced.  There will be many building repairs along the ground level due to weathering and ageing of the physical building. During this phase of the renovation, we will be replacing several pieces of wood and metal along the skits of the buildings. We will begin power washing buildings on Tuesday, April 1st, 2014. Please ensure that all personal property on patios and balconies are cleared.  All personal property that remains on the patio or balcony may result in water damage.  We will not be held responsible for any personal property damaged during the power washing.  Painting of the buildings will begin on Thursday, April 3rd, 2014. 

4th Phase of Renovation – COMPLETE

All building exteriors will be painted by one of Capro’s teams.  Also, all shutters will be replaced with new shutters.  During this process we will need all of our residents to use caution while walking on the property.  We will work to make this phase as convenient as possible, however, there may be delays depending on weather. The swimming pool at Stafford Lakes will also be refinished with a fresh paint job.

5th Phase of Renovation –COMPLETE

We plan on working with a paving and sealing company to repair many areas of our parking lots, roadways, and sidewalks on the property. This phase may include new signage where needed. More details will be posted when available to management. Repainting of mailboxes are included with this phase. NOTE: This phase will be revisited in 2015.

6th Phase of Renovation –

The final phase of the renovation will include landscaping and the physical appearance of the grounds of Stafford Lakes. This phase will be carried out by Valley Crest Landscaping to involve new plants and flowers and grass where applicable.  Valley Crest will also be doing work around the property to fix any erosion problems on the grounds. NOTE: This phase will be revisited in 2016.
